Goodbye, Bookstore
You know the last thing you want to do after finals is go to the campus bookstore and try to get back a fraction of what you paid for your textbooks. You could wait until the beginning of the next semester. Isn’t that a thrilling idea?
Maybe it’s better at the beginning of the semester. At least then you’ve a got a little bit of energy. It’s at the end of the semester when you’re dead tired that it’s the worst. You’ve bled out everything in your brain, you haven’t slept for days and now you just want to get rid of the books you didn’t even use, but you have to stand in line with them weighing you down just to get back a few pennies. Sometimes it seems easier just to throw them in the dumpster.
But, it’s a money thing. You paid all the incredibly high prices for them at the beginning of the semester, so now you want a little back. I do. And, excuse me if I repeat myself, but it is just a little. What a scam these guys are running. The economy sucks and they demand we rent these books for the pleasure of a massive credit card debt and then we try to get maybe ten percent of the value back. I’m not playing the game anymore. I’m going to sell textbooks for cash online.
I’m not talking about a swap site or an auction site. Swap sites are way too hit or miss. Somebody has to look in just the right category at the right time. If you succeed in making the internet connect, you’ve still got to get the money and make the physical connection. Auction sites aren’t exactly the quickest way either. The best way is to find a site dedicated to do a textbook buyback. It’s a guaranteed market to sell used college textbooks.
If you want cash for textbooks, the site to use is www.LRLBooks.com. I go to the site, type in the ISBN numbers and they give me a quote. What they say they’ll pay is what they’ll pay. No hassle. All I have to do is pack the books, ship them and wait for the money. They even pay the shipping by giving you a shipping label. No trip to the bookstore, better prices and a fast payment. You won’t see me at the bookstore.
